MVSU to Hold Second Annual Fine Arts Night Thursday, March 19th to Celebrate Performing and Visual Arts Students

Mountain Views Supervisory Union and its entire team of Fine Arts Educators are pleased to announce that the second annual Fine Arts Night will be held at the Woodstock Union High School and Middle School (WUHSMS) on Thursday evening, March 19. The campus is located at 100 Amsden Way, Woodstock, VT 05091.

The event will celebrate student artists and musicians from every one of MVSU’s schools’ visual and performing arts programs and will feature the work of more than 650 students.

The event is offered free and open to the public as follows:

  • Art Galleries: Open at 5:30 pm through 8 pm, with works by students visible throughout the school

  • Jazz/Funk Bands Lobby Performance: Start time is 5:45 pm

  • MVSU Music Performance: Begins in Large Gym at 6:30 pm

“We are excited to be inviting artists and musicians from schools all over the Mountain Views Supervisory Union,” said Josua Pauly, MVSU Band and Choir Director. “With more than 650 students participating, the evening is sure to be an exciting event!”

Pauly noted that, if the event is anything like the first, it will be well attended. He advises those planning to join in on Fine Arts Night to consider building in extra time for parking into their travel plans.

Entry to the Fine Arts Night is through the WHSMS Main Entrance.
