School Nutrition Program
Menus and meals
Vermont's Universal School Meals program provides free breakfast and lunch to all students at a district school.
Monthly Menus
Breakfast
Students can pick up breakfast at designated breakfast areas and bring it back to their classroom to enjoy. There's no need to order ahead of time.
Lunch
Elementary schools: Students can order lunch when they arrive at school in the morning. The kitchen will bring meals to classrooms or students can pick them up at lunch time.
WUHSMS: Students may visit the cafeteria during lunch time. They’ll pick up their meal to take to their lunch classroom or eat in the cafeteria.
Students enter their 4-digit lunch number (PIN), typing this number at the register for each meal. Their account will not be charged, but the meal must match their student ID number.
Elementary students can type their PIN or tell their name to the register person.
Their meal account will NOT be charged.
Additional Information
Allergy Policy
We take student allergies seriously and have safety measures in place. Please review our district wide allergy policy for complete details.
Free & Reduced Meal Forms
While our nutrition program operates under the Community Eligibility Provision, it is still helpful for households to complete the household meal application form and return it to your school's office. Thank you for completing this step! Please complete this form and return it to your school office. If you need help with the form, let us know. This application helps our schools receive money for other programs and helps your family receive other assistance. You can apply anytime during the school year if your family income changes.
VeggieVanGo - Monthly Free Produce Distribution
VeggieVanGo is a Vermont Foodbank program that partners with schools and healthcare organizations to provide free monthly fresh produce distributions with no eligibility requirements or questions asked. Each month, volunteers help distribute fresh produce items like fruits and vegetables to thousands of families across Vermont communities.
Locally, VeggieVanGo takes place in the parking lot of Woodstock Union on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10-11 am.
