Long Term Disability
Long-term disability plans provide financial protection for you by paying a portion of your income while you are disabled. The amount you receive is based on the amount you earned before your disability began. Sometimes, you can receive disability payments even if you work while disabled. Enrollment is completed on your WISE Benefits portal.

Teachers
This is an optional benefit for teachers covered under the collective bargaining agreement who work at least 17.5 hours per week. The employee pays for this coverage on a post-tax basis. Each spring, during the open enrollment, you can enroll in this benefit if you currently don’t have this coverage. New hires will have thirty (30) days to decide, and coverage will begin the first of the month following.
