WUHS' Yoh Theatre takes its act on the road - All the way to Edinburgh, Scotland

Woodstock Union High School announced today the triumphant return recently of twenty-three middle- and high-school Yoh Theatre players from a visit to Edinburgh, Scotland. While in Edinburgh, the players delivered four highly acclaimed and sold-out performances of 30 Futurist Plays from Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (30 plays in 60 minutes) by Greg Allen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Mountain Views Supervisory Union Becomes Founding Member of New Educational Service Agency Cooperative

After five years of collaboration between the superintendents of eight southeast Vermont supervisory unions and districts, the Mountain Views Supervisory Union (MVSU) voted unanimously Monday to become the founding member of the new Southeast Vermont Region Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES). With the Board’s vote of approval, MSVU also became the first Supervisory Union or District in Vermont to officially join a BOCES.

Mountain Views Supervisory Union Kicks Off Planning for New Middle and High School Construction

A newly formed Mountain Views Supervisory Union working group has reinitiated planning for the construction of a new middle and high school for which it previously received Vermont’s approval. With that approval, the group’s goal is to immediately begin working with the State’s legislature to restart its building project under the terms of Act 73 (also referred to as HB 454), the State’s sweeping new education-reform bill.
